Call Transfer
There are some cases, when your employee needs to transfer a client's call to another employee.
If you use a softphone or a desk phone, you may transfer a call using the instructions of the softphone or the desk phone.
A mobile phone transfer
During the call, dial the *#number# of a person to whom you are going to transfer a phone call. Talk to this person and then hang up the phone.
In detail:
After * # the current call will be held. Your client will hear the music, and you will hear a beep. Dial the employee's extension number or any other external number you want to transfer the call to. Press #. The person you want to transfer the call to will pick up the phone. Talk to this person and just hang up to «connect» the calls. After resetting the call you will hear the silence. The call is transferred. If the other employee is not able to pick up the phone, return to the conversation by simply dialing #*#.
Please, note: now it is possible only for incoming calls.
A softphone transfer
You may transfer the call in different ways. The transfer depends on the type of a softphone. During a conversation, you will need to press the «Call Transfer» button, enter the number, select the type of transfer and confirm the transfer.
An IP phone transfer
You may transfer the call in different ways. The transfer depends on the type of a SIP-phone. During a call, you will need to press the transfer button («tran», «trnsfr», etc.), dial the phone number and select the type of transfer.
